Listen to the silence
And a voice emerges.
Give heed to the Spirit,
Ignoring the noises.
A beautiful melody unsung
In the midst arises;
Not really apparent
Though with familiar reprises;
The still, small voice
That the Trinity comprises.
Tune your heart and mind
To the given mitzvah,
Sacrificing the nature of the flesh
And renewing your inner persona.
Maintain that frequency
With an ever singing Hosanna;
Listen loud to the Sotto Voce!
In the time of downfalls,
Melancholic strains are heard:
Convicting you to turn back,
Confess, believe and surrender.
When confronted again,
Fight with the Spirit's sword,
And keep in rhythm with the Lord,
By listening loud to the Sotto Voce.
