Soul Flies Poem by Alavi Maliha

Soul Flies

Here's how the soul flies!
And a body with a cold heart,
Never opens his eyes.
So does the stars wanted to be count,
So, did her heart once bounced.
Still her warmth never reached
Through the deepest of his soul,
To where every memory bounds
With some dusty little vows.
And to the wildest she wanted to fly!
But all she touches might burn,
She never let the soul return.
And here's how the soul let him fly!
With a cold body left aside,
Through the agonies of oblivion,
There she closes his eyes.
