Soul Needs A Wash Poem by shane rose

Soul Needs A Wash

You pierce my skin,
Time after time,
Never a win,
Chasing that high.

Through my veins,
Poison infects me,
Causes me pain,
For everyone to see.

Addicted for life,
Memories squashed.
Got into some strife,
Soul needs a wash.

Long way from over,
How I look foraward.
To a happy life sober.
No longer bored.

Once again, very nice. not over-complicated. its nice and to the point, candid account of addiction.
