Soul On Fire Poem by Serena Silenced

Soul On Fire

Rating: 4.9

She loved him with a fierce desire
Caught up in flames
He set her soul on fire
She brought shame to her family
She is the one to blame
She’s treated callously
She is a woman who has no worth
She is simply property
She has been since birth
For a moment of pleasure and a taste of desire
She is doused in gasoline
She is set on fire
Burning hearts
Pay a terrible price
When you are a woman
With no civil rights
