Soul Partner Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Soul Partner

Where are you my soul partner?
I've never heard from you for some time now,
And i still remember the last time our naked bodies met.

It is all about your muse and my name,
it is all about your love and my care,
And to work on the vineyards and the fields of love!
But the shackles will be rembered always.

At last, you are only eight day old away;
And of your love between the two walls!
With the fallen grapes being kept aside for you.

You are my world and my words of peace,
Oh my soul partner, where are you? ! !
For i am now sitting here on a horse without a name,
Waiting till the day that we will meet again;
Because you are all that i need.
