Souls Are Calling

Rating: 5.0

The light is calling,
Calling through a dead mirror,
The sun is falling,
Falling beneath our fear,
Our fear we try to hide,
There’s a little yellow bench,
With a bucket of paint and a long lost journal,
As we lay our lunch out,
The fruit rolls down,
It’s tossed in the sea,
We run with the wind,
Let it carry us along,
And sing our song,
With a U and a Y,
We’ll lift our glory off the ground,
Smile to the sky,
And wave our hands around,
With the color of our apples,
Oranges and plums,
They soaked up the dullness,
And showed us the hues,
The hues of our minds and cares,
Breaking our lives in half,
And sharing them with others,
With the ones with no hope,
No love and no glow,
We always thought we could,
Could fix anything,
Any soul,
Any fear,
Any one with the devotion,
We always knew the stars,
The stars and their names,
Their stories and their fames,
Why do we never start,
Start to wonder,
When we grow old,
And fade away
Will the people remember us.
