The feeling of loss
Of letting go
Falling...
And my heart
Skips a beat
The panicked feeling
Of empty nothingness
That flow
Without the rush of air
Silent, warm,
And everything around me
Untouchable,
Unreachable,
Unbearable loneliness
No matter how hard I try
Still falling...
Shut off from everything else
Fear for what's about to happen
Cut off from time
And yet, still not free
Captured in a soundproof bubble
Of endless depth
Depth of something not quite air
Mist of magic dreamlike quality
Still falling...
Unending falling...
Deeper, deeper, farther away
But my heart still skips it's beat
