Sounds And Feelings
The sounds of certain words
Can wake up feelings
That become alive
And in us thrive.
The tones, the intent
The surrounding scent
Of certain words,
Can be so thrilling,
Even fulfilling
Embracing all,
Large and small
At certain times.
Poets, Writers
Know this well
And with certain
Words and thoughts,
Can inject a lively
Feeling
That sometimes can be
Sweet healing,
As their web
Of worded feelings
Fills in many,
A life's loss.
Poets are armed with wonderful words that touch the heart, mind, and soul of the readers........10+++❤️❤️❤️
So very true. This poem resonates with me. The words of Poets and writers sometimes bring solace, heal and inspire. Like the great Poetess words, they oftentimes brought joy, comfort and fuel me to write. Thank you for always being an inspiration, Sandra. Words have their own scent, sound, tone and intent- this has been so thoughtfully perceived by the poetess and expressed so beautifully through the lines of this poem that the readers of the poem have to pause and ponder, and agree to what she has said. A lovely poem.
