Struggling,
Suffering it all alone,
Bearing with silently
To cope with the deadly virus
Spread around,
The emergency staff,
The military
All called in
To help
During the crisis
To overcome it
Anyhow.

But the wide world
A mute spectator
Sending no aid,
Showing no haste
To help the writhing humanity,
Ailing humanity,
Suffering and dying
From the new virus
Afflicting them unawares
When unprepared for
All that
Affecting it like a dragon.
