Special Man Poem by Sandra Black

Special Man

He must be special
This man I know
Mum seems to love even more
She chats him up
All day I know for sure

From morn to night
She's at his beck
She never answers my call
Somedays I ask her
A thing or two

She just looks askance
As if I am from the zoo
She has now muscles
In her thumbs
For him she ever succumbs

Her steadfast rules
All broken now
Why she is but a sordid cow
I look up to her no more
But then he can be no bore

My mum was my light
She is my world
Now it's only him
That makes her twirl
And fills with heavenly delight

He must be special
I know somehow
My mum's not a sordid cow
She waited long for this man
She would be wise, I understand

He must be gentle
He must be kind
My mum is not out of her mind
He hasn't even her yet met
But loves her that I can surely bet

He must be wise
That invisible man
He has made my mum
All young and tan
She has lost her wrinkles it's no lies

My mum now on cloud9 flies
She has at last found her man
For him she has this long life ran
Alone and lonely now no more
She is so happy, I am no more sore

Im rather protective of my mother too, when I was a child she only had one boyfriend who was a real, she learned this the hard way and dumped him, luckily she found my stepdad they married and have been so for over 10 years, this poem is rather special. Thank you for sharing.
