Don’tcha find it peaceful
To watch a herd of cows
I mean, they’re so calm it seems
No problems or hurtful rows
They walk around the field
Chewing so calm and slow
Never seem to get excited
They follow life as it goes
They watch each others children
While a mother walks away
The babies don’t seem to mind a bit
With any old cow they will stay
Did you ever smell the breath
Of a cow up close to you?
Kind of pleasant I think, really
As their cud they continue to chew
I love to spend time with these animals
For peace and harmony they know how
For I can’t think of anything better
Than to spend a day with a cow!
