Spices Of A True Love Poem by Tess Rockenstire

Spices Of A True Love

What is it about you that make me smile?
Is it the spice of the season?
Is it your laughter or serene face?
You’re dazzling to my imagination.

What is it that makes me think of you day and night?
Is it the sound of your voice?
Or the romantic place we share,
I can’t figure it out in my head.

What is it that makes my skin tingle in the right places?
Is it the touch of your finger to my lips?
Or shall I say the kiss that I long to feel,
Or is it because; there’s hidden mystery in you.

What is it about you that I dream to walk in the aisle again?
Could that be just a fantasy?
Or could that be a reality?
I would be a fool, if I said ‘no.’

What is it about you that I think “love” differently?
Is it because I am drawn to you?
Or could it be because I love you?
Or is it because I have found my missing piece.
