Spring Break - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Spring Break - Lincoln Park Zoo

Flamingos go to school, we do,
To learn all about this and that,
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
Daily in our habitat.
I dream of heading for the beach
In Florida where parties be,
Away from all the boring teach,
Where I can just be loose and free.
Right now my brain just needs a rest
From all the stuff that I must learn.
After I pass my mid term test,
A time to relax I do yearn.

It's about all that I can take.
C'mon Zoo - gimme a Spring break.
