Spring is such a pure delight
When weather starts to warm
Flowers open up for us
In the city or out on the farm
Blossoms are so welcome
Their fragrances so sweet
Sun brings out so many things
That for us are such a treat
I love to take a leisurely walk
In the park near my home
The little bridge over the brook
The perfect place to roam
The lovely sweet bird sounds
Amongst the leaves overhead
The furry bumble bees are out
From nectar they are fed
Rhododendrons and Azaleas
Have their annual fashion show
The daffodils and tulips
In fields you can see them grow
So take some time, my friend
Enjoy the lovely sights
Because it is that time of year
To observe fresh spring delights!

This is a spiritual creation, for it addresses the rebirth of the seasons! Nothing like a leisurely walk in springtime. Excellent composition.
