Spring Flowers Acrostic Poem by Ella Rose

Spring Flowers Acrostic

Amaryllis pretends she's asleep for the night
Bleeding Hearts peek through the dawns early light
Chrysanthemums bloom in yellow, white and pink
Day Lilies are feather light as their petals blink
English Lavender takes pride in their elite hues
Freesias more beautiful in red never in blue
Geraniums, magnifies my gardens sweet aura
Heathers are the favorite of my late aunt Flora
Irises blossom early and last all Spring
Jasmines, oh my, how elegant they sing!
Kashes whisper sweet breath in early May
Lilacs in candle scents, grown down by the bay
Malvas only flourish in the color magenta
Nemesias capture the essence of my veranda
Orchids are fed with ice cubes every single week
Peonies so large smelling like sugar so sweet
Queen Lily Gingers stand up straight in the air
Rosemarys make a bouquet so debonair
Saffrons shimmer in purple and orange so deep
Tiger-Lilies spread like fire with very easy up keep
Ursinias shower my garden with brown colored stems
Victorias bleed with red, I sneeze when around them
Wisterias droop down below like a crying floret
Xenias make the perfect centerpiece, I always forget
Yasmins share pollen with the scary bumble bee's
Zinnias dance like magic while flowing in the breeze
