Spring Of Youth Poem by Bharati Nayak

Spring Of Youth

Rating: 5.0

I was seeing this moon for years

But all of a sudden

Moon started looking different.

Cuckoo's coos sounded more melodious

It seemed a song of melancholy

A restive call for his mate.
The clouds seemed to carry messages

From mysterious lands

Wishing to pour down at slightest cause

The leaves on the branches

Seemed to sing enchanting song and

Morning breeze blew with sweetest fragrance.

The world looked so different

At the spring of youth

The melody sprung at this time

Still hums like a rippling river

Beautiful poetry. Everything seems beautiful when love grips the heart. Nicely crafted.
