Spring Sunshine Poem by Ellen Ni Bheachain

After all the chills and winter blues,
The staying warm and staying in,
Meetings indoors for outside is cold,
Then comes the spring sunshine,

The sun breaks in like a door opened wide,
With the burst of sunlight,
That lasting and warm,
Bringing back smiles back peoples face,
When the ray of sunshine touches their face,

For in the chilling season it did bring,
Us all to hibernate and stay in,
Not getting us out as winter set in,
Until Spring shows its face,
And brings us back out,

It is the time for new growth,
It is the time for new beginnings,
It is the time for buds to bloom,
It is the time for nature to sound,
Be happy it's Spring again!

For all the while when we shelter from the chills,
Chill relax and rest,
Just like nature,
Take that time out to heal,
While Spring gets ready,
For all new beginnings,
Brought forth form old to new,

Beneath the hardened ground,
Is the seed that was planted,
That will spring forth,
When the sun shines,
To let us know its Spring again,

So you are the seed,
You will grow,
You will rest,
You will regenerate,
You will bloom and grow again,
Because you have roots,
That go deeper that those,
That hurt or left you so,

It is the time for new growth,
It is the time for new beginnings,
It is the time for buds to bloom,
It is the time for nature to sound,
Be happy it's Spring again!

Let nature takes its course,
For you and me,
Are like seasons of nature,
Rest when you can,
Spring forth to bloom,

Enjoy and flourish in Summer,
And in Autumn?
Shed away the blues,
And you will find,
No need to hibernate,
When winter shows,

For they are gone,
That left you blue,
Its Spring in your heart,
Just like in mine,
So no matter what the season,
Lets be glad,
To have come through the Winter Chills,
And made it to Spring.

Brought forth from the old,
Of last seasons blossoms,
Spring will bring new growth,
New visions new beginnings,

Just like Spring,
You will bloom,
Because you were well rooted,
So, never went away,
With the rays of sunshine,
And others that cheer you up,
You sprung forth,
And like Spring,
You blossomed again,

Spring will start again,
Just like you and me,
And a new year to begin it with,
That starts with first,
Winter chills,

It is the time for new growth,
It is the time for new beginnings,
It is the time for buds to bloom,
It is the time for nature to sound,
Be happy it's Spring again!

Then comes spring sunshine,
With bright sunshine days,
That will bring the smile back,
To all our faces,
After we heal in the winter chills time period,
And then get back out,
With the warm sun rays,
Of;
Spring Sunshine.
