Squealing Snow* Poem by Donna Ialongo

Squealing Snow*

squealing snow splashes
love, wheezing and hardly
slushing as I crunch
my cares to little
bits. lucious springs the
flakes (biting earth like
puppies(swimming down like
a frozen rainbow, crashing
to the ground in silence
speaking sounds in God's
own language. kissing
every and each heart, making
love to sneezing snowmen.
breaking promises unkept.
magic mounds in the
tonight see that even the
trees are holding
hands.
