Greatness, success,loved ones
everyone and everything
one has to leave at the backstage
of this earth and go;
the others rise up
to play their parts, their roles,
deeply embedded in their minds
are not just memories
but also the recollections
of dynamism, of wonderfulness
of those who exist no more.
Slowly wakes up another firm reality
one keeps saying- "I will do
just what my mother did",
another keeps saying - "I will achieve
much more success and fame
than my father did";
thus life moves on and so does theatre.
O' these actors, they never die
silently by their movies
they potray themselves vividly
with every replay of their past movies;
while their children
pick up the banner and move on
acting in movies
producing movies
entertaining the world
just like their mothers, their fathers;
each one knowing the world is a stage
and that they have to play their part
before the curtain falls
and spectators are left to gaze
either with pensiveness in their minds
or tears in their eyes;
and whether the show is real or just a film
whether the actors are on screen
whether they have stopped to breathe
they connect with people endlessly
by their performances, their cinema
their commitment, their fame
and above all by the beautifulness
of their nature and social attitude.

I would like to translate this poem
thus life moves on and so does theatre. Great tribute to the great evergreen actress. 10
