Never can a eunuch truly span
The pleasure of man-woman passion—
Feelings of utter bliss
That a green horn would miss.
So be bliss of knowledge
Of an enlightened sage
That an ignorant knows next to none.

Given below is the original couplet in Hindi along with its translireation in English Roman.
नर नारी के सूख को, खांसि नहि पहिचान,
त्यों ज्ञानि के सूख को, अज्ञानी नहि जान|
Nara nārī ke sūkha ko khānsi nahi pahichān,
Tyon jñāni ke sūkha ko ajñāni nahi jān.
One has to die before gaining access to paradise. One has to suffer or savour to gain experience, without which he can hardly appreciate the reality, what is what. So is it with pleasure of men and women; a eunuch can't understand it. The bliss of knowledge a learned man knows, an ignorant fool can't appreciate.
Topic: men, women, joy, learned, ignorant
Ignorance can be expelled by light of wisdom of God. Saint Kabir's verse truly guides us to fain wisdom. This poem is excellently penned.
