Stairs (Fun Poem 58) Poem by David Harris

Stairs (Fun Poem 58)

Rating: 4.7

Everyday we climb stairs,
up we go and down we come.
Have you ever stop to think
how many steps that you actually climb.
Today I started counting just how many steps
in stairs I climb most everyday.
I was amazed
when I totalled them all up.
It came to just over four hundred steps
I go up and down each day.
At the beginning of the year,
I was six foot seven
and now I am six foot three.
If this goes on at the rate it’s going
at the end of the year I will be a pygmy.

So that's why I'm shrinking.....all those staircases I go up and down everyday...I used to be 5' 4'....now I'm 5' 3'...who would have thunk!
