Another sleepless night
Another painful fight
To live everyday as best I can
To try and stand out
From the background
I am in my nowhere land
Neither good or bad
Neither glad or sad
How do I escape from this nowhere
When I'm no one
A nobody that has a dream
To become someone
What's the first step
Up this steep ladder
I've tried before
Only to fall to this hard floor
How do you stand out
When all you do is stand back
Worrying your not good enough
To be someone
To love someone
I am a nobody
Who will become somebody
Just one more step
Away from the shadow
To stand outside
And see the sun
To know I've won
To know I'm worth
The love of someone
