Standing By The Sea Poem by Perdita Young (Hanna Wang)

Standing By The Sea

Rating: 5.0

Standing by the sea
to watch the sky and sea
divided by a line
a boat sails by on the waves
swelling up and down expectant.

Hark! I hear the waves singing
Lo! I see the sails dancing
layers of snows
lashing against the rocks.

Ah beautiful is Nature's harmony
so loud and melodious!
Drifting back to the coast
its song, its dance, its chord
in response to the attachment
of the sands under my feet.
