Star-Wonder Poem by Dr John Celes

Star-Wonder

What constellations of stars and galaxies
Fill the space light-years in time!
And no one knows what for they are,
A colossal waste, man thinks.

But God has placed them, big and small,
Far and near, calls them each by its name;
A wonder of the firmament that
Astounds the human eyes.

The light of stars varies as well;
Are their reasons why they are fixed?
Man cannot reach the nearest one
By any mode devised so far.

A nice poem filled with the wonders of our night sky! All those unanswered questions that cause us to marvel at the unknown. Nicely written piece!
