Starlight Poem by Evelyn Norcott

Starlight

Rating: 5.0

Starlight cast onto my pillow drives me insane;
I have myriads of metaphors flooding my veins.
My wish is to be an astronaut with a pen,
To shake hands with the idol rock.
What could the moon pour from my brain?
If starlight can affect me from so far away
