Stars Poem by Kevin Patrick

Stars

Stars,
Nurtured in graveyards
Raised in hollow nursery of space
Expanding, Contracting and Exploding
Imploding a lifetimes isolation
Caressing the breast
In the kiss of spaces
abyss
devoid of bliss
Swimming motionless
through forest
of obsidian
shooting ribbons of plasma
in Solitary palaces
of blind oblivion
enigmatically magnetic
spinning, listlessly
peripatetic
Round eternities maelstrom
In the whirlpools of an eclipse
Stranded
In gravities wake
Stars
Paralyzed fires
Engines of specters
Crying infernos in Jetstream coronas
Calling forlornly
in absentia
Immolating eons
In a depthless scream
Beautifully Paralyzing flames
Marooned in and abattoir of solitude
