Stars Poem by James Tyler

Stars

Rating: 4.0

The bright shining stars,
A twinkling hue.
These simple little dots,
Remind me of you.

The noise of the crickets,
The calm of the night.
The sun has departed,
And yet there is light.

It’s pretty sweet,
Being on the lake.
But you being here,
Would be icing on cake.

I wish you could see,
The stars in the sky,
The satellites twinkle,
And the shooting ones fly.

The bright shining stars,
A twinkling hue.
I’d give it all up,
To be with you.
