As I stand before you, watching how freely you
flow, with the wind all about you.
Brings to mind our last meeting, a small child with
a gleaming smile, seeing you in so many places.
With the sound of music from afar and to see her silent
beauty shine like a star, with brilliancy of Honor and
Pride, sweeping over us and waving so proudly to one and all.
Our lasting friendship grew, in time I knew, whenever I
looked towards the sky.
What a view, RED, WHITE and BLUE with time space, we both
have mellowed and aged together. Through the years our
love-affair has been endless. As sunset approaches with
the stillness and the calm, the Stars and Stripes
are lowered until dawn.
As I think about our future, may you always be there for
the Free and the Brave, who have loved you so dearly.
Good Night rest easy, we shall never let you down.
