Starvin Limbs, Old And Alone.. Poem by Ersin UYANIK

Starvin Limbs, Old And Alone..

Rating: 4.5

i was there.
Just exactly that moment and that point of the time and the space.
Such a gloomy scene it was,
That starving arms of the trees and the fog behind them.
i was alone and i was testified to that moment.
Such a happy man i was there. old and alone.
i felt that grim serenity and full of senses was blooming into my mind.
Without a cause, i pushed the trigger of the camera suddenly and pointlessly.
The time and the space was freezed into my vizor.
and i left and keep going my way.

i was complaining about the loneliness of mine whenever i was alone in the forests before.

But i'm giving my word now, from now on, not anymore and not again.

I understood in the end.
No matter how i was late to understand.
Because i understood in the end.

An insightful piece of poetry depicting reawakening of mind and self-realization, well articulated and nicely penned in poetic diction with conviction. A lovely poem bristling with insight. Thanks for sharing Ersin. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
