Stella Has Turned Sixty Poem by Francis Duggan

Stella Has Turned Sixty

Rating: 5.0

If I did not know what age she is I'd say it cannot be true
For she looks younger than she is I'd say at tops fifty two
But Stella has turned sixty today is her birthday
So happy birthday Stella so young you seem to stay.

Stella has turned sixty though young at heart she does remain
And though she has had her ups and downs in life you never hear her complain
She survived a bad accident last year thanks to her good state of health
A healthy constitution is the greatest form of wealth.

Stella has turned sixty but at heart she remains young
A pillar of the Local Community though she remains unsung
Her heart is in the right place in her there is so much good
one of those generous people she would help you if she could.

Stella has turned sixty though of her one would say
She cannot be more than fifty she doesn't look ageing and gray
The life of every party and people like her are rare
She is always helping out others and with the best she can compare.
