Stewardship Poem by Omodele Samaiye

Stewardship

Clothe me like I was naked
Feed me like I'd never been fed
Shelter me like I was homeless
Love me like I'd never been loved
Life changes like a day switches to night
In a jiffy many wrongs are made right
Holding tight the sight of our plights
Our might, straying in open light.

Open wide the window of your heart
Let the breeze of love blow away your frayed mind
I'll dine in time to come
For my table I shall set with the lords
With good bounty shall I reward
Nothing more but your stewardship.
