Stifled Stife Poem by Namita Rani Panda

Stifled Stife

Rating: 5.0

So benevolent You are O' my Almighty!
Please revivify my lost identity.
Desiring not to be a stunted sensation,
liberate me from this pokey formation.
With your graceful magical touch
give me back my huge entity.
So charmless is this painful captivity
sans dignity and liberty,
avid masculinity mashes most,
me reduced to a mere nothing,
just a toy in the show case of time.

So kind You are O' my Divinity!
Give ears to the pangs of itty- bitty beauty,
with roots rickety desires stifled,
wired and choked in a cramped container.
My sickening boughs and slothful leaves
strive for Your rain and Sunshine.

So generous You are O' my Almighty!
Favour me with Your divine bliss,
liberate me from this horrific humiliation,
give me back my lost dignity,
my much coveted habitat,
my natural beauty.
Bathed in sun and drenched in rain
gleefully grow l to touch the sky,
branches will sway in full jubilation
a bedlam of chirruping
me a haven for jovial squirrels' hiding,
for children to play hide and seek
sway and swing holding aerial roots.

So magnanimous You are O' my Almighty!
Seek Your blessings and sympathy.
May my hard times go!
May music murmur uninterrupted!
May this deserted soul overflow with
thepleasantriesofveritablebedlamof
chirruping
with Your blissful blessings!
