Still Have Some Mountain To Climb Poem by Lore Me34

Still Have Some Mountain To Climb

We no longer have to sit in the back of the bus.
But we still have some mountain to climb.
We now can eat and shop were we want.
But we still have some mountain to climb.
We can go to school with people of other ethnicity.
But we still have some mountain to climb.
We have elected a President of the United States with African Heritage twice.
But we still have some mountain to climb.
Until this nation truly becomes color blind;
We still have some mountain to climb.
