Still I Smile Poem by Ademola busayo

Still I Smile

Still I smile

My life was not perfect
I don't leave In big mansion
But my Hut was not that cold
Still I smile

I don't have many clothes
But I never walked naked
My feathers where not that blooming
Still I smile

I never enjoyed the the care of parenthood
But I never let my guard down
And I always walk in perfect ways
Still I smile

Have always trade love for hate
Not a perfect exchange
But we leave in work of barter
Still I smile

Have been betrayed by friends
And lost Hope in my country men
But still I smile

Life never offer me gold
But my silver spring don't bright
But my future look great
Still I smile
