Still Love You Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Still Love You

You hated me
All this while
Must have hurt you
Oh! what a trial.
I feel for you
I really do

So much
venom
Behind those
smiles
While I
loved you
Devoid
of guile
The tempest
had to be
on the brew

You were
my first love
In you
did I trust
Still think
of those days
When I
felt the rush
While you
tried so hard
To win and woo

And soon
No more ties
You'll be free
No disguise
And our past
In garbage
Strewn
Most natural
For me
To still
Love you
Nalini
