Still Moment Poem by jonathan farrell

Still Moment

A deep blue sky in beauty
Surrounds a tree of gold
To capture this is my duty
My memory to hold

The image rushes through my eyes
All I do is stare
Beautiful to analyse
A sight so very rare

A gust of wind creates such life
They're waving in my awe
A silent world without strife
A night that has no flaw

One last look and then i'm done
With that i'll close my eyes
Awaking to a perfect sun
Until the world takes away my prize
