Still Still Life Poem by Justin Aptaker

Still Still Life

Rating: 4.8

as i sit on the edge
         of the curb
     staring into Black Abyss Inevitable
         with my mind's eye
     dragging poison into my lungs
much like sucking
         on the barrel
         of a loaded gun
   i pray
   for Life to begin

The style as also expression are simply superb and in contrast to the sucking of poison in lungs. Thanks for sharing.
