Stillness Poem by Not Ere

Stillness

The memory of a feeling of a thought

an experience that cannot be bought

a loss of the lies I've been taught

escaping the mind I was caught in

I thought nothing would be boring

instead its like endless exploring

no matter no time no distance

my beliefs vanish in an instance

a mind with nothing to cling to

cannot continue to be you

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The crushing weight of expectation and fear allowed me to fall behind the eyes, let go of the whirling worries, and wallow in the beautiful stillness. Temporary bliss.
