Stories Poem by Aris Williams

Stories

Open the book and travel far,
Lead to lands large and small,
Follow not on plane or car,
Travel on giants, big and tall,

Fly to distant mountain peaks,
On dragons the size of towers,
Or go to where none will speak,
Shrinking down to a flower,

Fight in battles to help your king,
Or join the rebels against,
Master the art of the sword swing,
Or learn to fight clean, or fence,

Fall deep into the tortures of hell,
Or sneak into demon filled rooms,
Learn the secrets of Those Who Fell,
Try to find the Dead King's Tomb,

Master powerful ancient spells,
Or fight with the power of words,
Find scrolls hidden deep in wells,
And send messages strapped to birds,

Set your mind at a state of ease,
And travel to distant realms,
Go wherever you shall please,
A book of stories has much to tell!
