Straight Line Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Straight Line

Rating: 5.0

I saw
The straight line
For a long time
With great spirit
And enthusiasm,
Suddenly it changed its direction
And became crooked in nature,
For this my refined eyes too retreated
From the line forever
In great pain and despair.

In great pain and despair... perhaps because there is nothing so straight in this world, curvy-linear, even time and space.

Life is but not humans or community always straight. More than often crooked in nature as you make clear in your poem. Well written, A.R.
