Strangers At The Door Poem by ARSHAJ GAIKWAD

Strangers At The Door

Greater things have happened,
Greater things we've got,
But all that remains is,
Your memories and your thoughts.
But who will you remember,
A strange thought i've got,
And as I think of it is,
It isn't what we sought.

The days of golden ages are gone,
Together when they stood,
And now a time has come that,
They question it, who would?
And now with only starring eyes,
With a hint of doubt they see,
With such an input to their minds,
What memories they will be!

So now I gather my nearer ones,
And put them all in shape,
That we'll experience what they failed,
Their relationships just gaped.
A laughter that is always grand,
Such memories we will store,
So time never comes, that we we'll stand,
LIKE STRANGERS AT THE DOOR...
