Stratford On West 63rd Poem by Michael Pruchnicki

Stratford On West 63rd

Rating: 2.8

Matinee on Saturday a dress rehearsal -
acrobats twirling and dogs on hind legs,
comics winging it on stage, dancers
tapping to tunes unheard,
and a crowd of groundlings
still wet behind the ears
laughing it up!

American Idol and Dancing with the Stars
along with Last Comic Standing
LIVE! on stage
every weekend
on West 63rd Street-
no remote,
no TV!

It's like the description of a carnival with various performances. Loved reading it. Thanks. LIVE! on stage /...no remote /...no TV!
