Strauss Poem by Sebastian Seal

Strauss

Johann Strauss went to a church.
He was looking for inspiration.
A giant mouse scurried past,
And let out a big squeak.
It shrank a bit, then squeaked again.
As it squeaked it shrank fast.

The mouse was getting smaller.
It was squeaking from the wrong end.
Soon it was back to normal size,
And became Strauss's new friend.
'I'll write an opera about you, ' said Strauss,
'I'll call it 'Deflator mouse'! '
