I loved you, as no other could ever
I promised you I would
And it was forever.

I lie here in a restless mind
Trying to forget about us
The days you were mine.

You chose another path
And I can still hear her
Still feel your laugh.

As I said
I would never find another
And now I am dead
But somehow, you still live in my heart.
