give me a man to spread the blood my love shed all over and tell me
it was not for me give me a woman that turns away from the red, white and blue
and spits on the signs that read support our troops give me that man and woman
let them step in front of our soldiers to stop the war they won't do it.

Lorena's versification is attractive. It is a good poem thematically also. (War may not be inevitable. However the soldiers many nations spend sleepless nights for the people to sleep well.)
