Stray Dog Poem by Casey Renee Kiser / snail viXen

Stray Dog

Rating: 5.0

He couldn't love me
like he loved his lips to that paper
He couldn't accept The Darkness
except to rape Her

So I'm back on the streets

He couldn't love me
like he loved his reputation
He couldn't accept The Darkness
as anything but devastation

So I'm back on the streets

They all want to take me in
just to clean me up

The poem reflects the anguish of a battered soul. Very heart touching. Thanks, Casey.
