Street Party Poem by Will B a Poet

Street Party

Nations linking hands,
feeling their way, in the darkness.
slaves to the dream,
beneath shooting star fireworks.
Eyes upturned, trying to catch a glimpse,
of happiness,
in that flash of light,
before the year turns &
the curtain descends.
