Strength - Poem by Grace Llöyd

Your words as cold as steel cut through me like a knife
Yet I still live

Your venomous looks poison my dreams
Yet I still sleep

Your dark aura rots my heart from inside out out
Yet I still love

Your harsh comments knock me down
Yet I still stand up

You always think your stronger than me
But I know its not true

wow, great use of paradox, great combination of ideas, lovely and smooth flow of words, I love it (Report) Reply
