Strength For Today
Stength For Today
Strength for today Lord is all I ask
For I can do none other
I give You all I am and have
For Your my closest Brother
There is not one thing in my life
But that You don't consider
And I praise You for that fact
As I sit and rest here
All around me there is calm
For You are by my side
Even above all life's extremities
You are my precious Guide
In Thy hand Lord, in Thy hand
I am so secure
None can sever this relationship
Of that I am assured
Our time on earth You know quite well
Our past, our present, our future
All of our days are in Thy hand
Praise God we live Forever
In Thy presence, sure delight
No sickness, sorrow, or saddness
The rest of our days spent with Thee
Pure unadultarated gladness
You've raised the tempo, raised the tempo
Taken it up a notch
Removed us from the wiles of satan
Because of Calvary's Cross
Where not ONE sin, nor death, nor hell
Could render such Display
For Thou has given us, Grace to live
For You are, our STRENGTH FOR TODAY.........
