Strive Poem by Robert Matkovic

Strive

Painted eyes tell lies and dreams of suicide collide within me
I have died a thousand times yet I rise to be me
I've lost all, hit rock bottom
Suicide has become an option

Listen in another story or rhyme to begin a new life
Death comes before birth just open your eyes
I'll be beside you
Don't cry, hate, anger it just fries what really is you

Man I can't stand the lies I keep hearing
Inside my head these stories of pain keep on living
But I plead for guidance another day by myself and all will be dieing

Good riddance
I'm done striving
Another goal set just to miss the net
It always hurt trying
Here I go again crying
